In the framework of the project entitled: “Enhancement of business branding through the development of a carbon footprint evaluation system in the cross border area” for the European Cross-border Cooperation Programme Greece – Bulgaria 2014 – 2020 (INTERREG V-A), implemented by SEVE, a series of five (5) training seminars and two (2) workshops will be held on the following topics:
Seminars:
1. Dimensions of climate transition: Climate adaptation, carbon footprint reduction, business risks and opportunities; Thursday 9 March 2023, at 14.00 via zoom
2. Codification of European and national directives and funding for reducing the carbon footprint – Thursday 16 March 2023, time 14.00 via zoom
3. GHG emission calculation protocols and methodology – Thursday 23 March 2023 at 14.00 via zoom
4. Introduction to the basic principles of the circular economy – Friday 31 March 2023 at 14.00 via zoom
5. Identification of “circular” processes in the production and distribution of products and good practices for sustainable resource management – Thursday 6 April 2023 via zoom
Workshops:
- Sustainable business models, and organizational challenges – Thursday 20 April 2023
- Techniques for upgrading public corporate branding (greenrebranding) and marketing tools – Thursday 27 April 2023
-Both events are aimed at executives in the food and agri-food industry and participation is free of charge subject to registration here. The seminars and workshops will have the character of webinars as they will be broadcast live with live streaming technology on a designated interface platform, with the exception of the 4th seminar which will be held in person in Thessaloniki, SEVE’S stand, at the TIF premises, Outdoor Area A11, Stand 5.
-The seminars will be in the form of an introduction and there will be time for questions/answers and their duration is estimated at three (3) hours each including breaks, while one can attend all or some of them.
