SEVE, always supporting businesses and providing useful information on cutting-edge issues, such as Climate Change, the Reduction of the Carbon Footprint and the Circular Economy, in the framework of the project entitled: “Enhancement of business branding through the development of a carbon footprint evaluation system in the cross border area” and with the acronym: “CB CARBONFREE” funded by the European Cross-border Cooperation Programme Greece – Bulgaria 2014 – 2020 (INTERREG V-A), in cooperation with the contractor company CLIMERGIA ENERGY & CLIMATE INVESTMENTS, organized in March and April 2023, a series of seminars on the following topics:
1. Dimensions of climate transition: Climate adaptation, carbon footprint reduction, business risks and opportunities
2. Codification of European and national directives and funding for carbon footprint reduction
3. Protocols and methodology for GHG emissions calculation
4. Introduction to the basic principles of the circular economy
5. Identification of “circular” processes in the production and distribution of products and good practices of sustainable resource management.
